"Dan and one of his assistants worked tirelessly to turn our narrow 'yard' into an easy maintenance, attractive garden. This was a real challenge, we had moved from an established garden to a weed strewn grass area of a garden, where weeds and not a lot else would grow. We had brought many plants from our previous garden hoping to create a garden here. The decision was no lawn, but to skim the central area and replace with Cotswold Stone and dig out surrounding borders for planting. Unfortunately the soil was 80% solid clay and sand, together with concrete and rocks hidden under a layer of top soil. So Dan built a long raised bed on one side, using railway sleepers and filled this with a mix of manure, grit and soil. The remaining 2 borders were pic axed and dug deep to remove the rubbish and filled with all the good stuff, manure, grit and decent soil.
The garden looks amazing, the borders are ready for us to plant out and we couldn't be more pleased. The guys time keeping was impressive, they couldnt have been more willing or helpful and worked incredibly hard to create this garden for us. We would certainly recommend Dan and his assistants to anyone looking for hard working, polite, pleasant guys at reasonable rates, who will work with you and your ideas and requirements, and overcome challenges."
